Theater to Discourage Opressions
A presentation of the authentic Theater of the Oppressed created by the Brazilian theater master Augusto Boal who died exactly 10 year ago, in 2009. His method is recognized throughout the theatrical worldwide and also in the world of educational and political knowledge as a tool of social interaction, legitimated even as an instrument to implement some Laws in Brazil and some countries in Africa and Europe. In this workshop, the actor and director Fernando Rocha will invite the public to participate in games, besides the possibility of a forum theater session can also happen.

Using theatrical coordination exercises and conscious uses of body and breathing and voice and games to stimulate disinhibition, creativity and interaction to address the principles of Augusto Boal's theater of the oppressed. The theater will offer instruments for the possible solution of real problems transposed to the scene in order to reflect on possible solutions, using the security of the fictional universe of theatrical improvisation.
